Hello! I'm a final-year Ph.D. candidate at the National University of Singapore (NUS), advised by Professors Loon Ching Tang and Zhisheng Ye. I also work closely with Professor Xu Sun, who has supervised my undergraduate research at the University of Florida. I obtained my B.E. in Industrial Engineering at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University at 2020.

• I will join the University of Chicago Booth School of Business as a postdoctoral principal researcher at Summer 2024, working with Professor Amy R. Ward.

Research Interests

• I take a problem-driven approach to address complex design and control challenges of modern service systems that involve emerging technologies and novel operational models.
• I am interested in developing theory at the intersection of stochastic control and data-driven decision making, with the goal of providing provably good decisions under imperfect information.

Methods: stochastic modeling and control, diffusion analysis, robust optimization, dynamic programing
Applications: smart emergency service operation, drone delivery operation, community responder crowdsourcing, on-demand workforce management
